Where Golden begins...
The heart behind the vision
Over a decade ago, Frances recognized a lack of representation in the children’s fashion industry and felt called to create something more inclusive, something her own children, and families like hers, could truly see themselves in. What began as a simple vision, nurtured at home and supported by loved ones, grew into a platform rooted in purpose, creativity, and community.
A devoted mother of four, Frances has always carried a deep love for fashion and storytelling, a passion she first explored as a teenager producing fashion shows. In 2007, surrounded by her children, family, and friends, she organized a heartfelt photo shoot that would quietly plant the seed for what Golden would become, a movement built not just on creativity, but on togetherness.
Blending her passion for fashion with her background in healthcare and education, and strengthened by the support of her family, Frances created Golden Magazine & Kids Runway: Fashion for a Cause. The project is deeply personal, shaped by her lived experiences and her desire to uplift children through visibility, confidence, and opportunity, the same values she holds close within her own home.
Today, Golden stands as a reflection of that foundation, a platform that celebrates creativity, diversity, and emerging talent while giving back to the community. At its heart is a simple belief: when we lift one another, we all rise. Frances remains dedicated to honoring the magic of childhood, guided by love, grounded in family, and committed to reminding every child that they are seen, valued, and truly golden.
